2026 Job Opportunities
Positions are currently filled for 2026. We will start our hiring process for the 2027 season in October. Feel free to email us a resume and cover letter if you are interested in full-time beginning in Spring 2027. Thank you!
Bumbleroot is an inclusive workplace and an equal opportunity employer. This farm is rooted in a foundation of care for one another, the earth, and this work. We love to laugh, break farm records, and grow food & flowers for our community. We prioritize efficiency and productivity in all of our daily tasks and value kindness and quality of life for our team members.
We currently cultivate 5-6 acres of certified organic vegetables and cut flowers. We use a combination of tractor-based practices and no-till and reduced tillage methods. Our entire operation is Certified Organic by MOFGA. All planting, weeding, harvesting, and processing is done by hand. We utilize 6 high tunnels and caterpillar tunnels to extend our growing season into the shoulder seasons and winter months.
We offer competitive wages & benefits for our employees. For seasonal staff, we offer paid time off, overtime pay, paid holidays during peak season, workers compensation insurance, Labor Movement workshops and training, free vegetables and flowers from the farm, and employee discounts for products we buy in from other local farms and food producers. There is room for growth at Bumbleroot. Returning employees are offered additional benefits.
Our mission is to connect people in our community with the land and the food that sustains us. We are focused on climate resilience and soil health and are exploring how to incorporate no-till practices and perennial crops into the farm. We are committed to renewable energy, community-building, and equity. If this sounds like the type of place you’d like to work, check out our job descriptions and send us an email! We’d love to hear from you.
